Youth Art + Tech Explorers Program

Duration: 4 months

Overview: This program is tailored for young aspiring artists and technologists aged 10-18. It introduces participants to the exciting world of art and technology, fostering creativity and technical skills through hands-on projects and interactive learning.

Curriculum Highlights:

Week 1: Introduction to Art and Technology, exploring how the two fields intersect.
Weeks 2-4: Basics of Coding with Python, where participants learn programming fundamentals through creative exercises.
Weeks 5-8: Basic Electronics and Arduino, providing hands-on experience with circuits and microcontrollers.
Weeks 9-12: 3D Modeling and Printing, teaching the essentials of 3D design and how to bring creations to life with 3D printers.
Weeks 13-16: Collaborative Project, where participants work together to create an art tech installation, showcasing their newly acquired skills.

Art + Tech Collaborative Training Program

Duration: 4 months

Overview: This program is aimed at adult artists and technologists who wish to deepen their understanding of art and technology integration. Participants will engage in comprehensive training, covering art tech history, coding, electronics, and more, ultimately developing a collaborative art tech installation.

Curriculum Highlights:

Week 1: Orientation and program overview, with participants presenting their practice and interests in art tech.
Week 2: Lecture on Art Tech History and Key Movements, followed by presentations from each participant on two artists they admire.
Weeks 3-6: Coding in Python, focusing on practical applications in art.
Weeks 7-10: Basic Circuitry and Sensors, exploring how to incorporate electronics into creative projects.
Weeks 11-14: Arduino and Actuators, enabling participants to create interactive and responsive installations.
Weeks 15-16: 3D Modelling and Printing, covering advanced techniques for creating complex designs.
Final Project: Participants will conceptualize and collaboratively build an art tech installation, supported by guidance from REALIITY’s experts.
